Atthami Bucha Day

May 19, 2025 — the day commemorating the cremation of the Buddha's body.

On this sacred occasion, Buddhist devotees come together to make merit, offer alms, present offerings to the Sangha, observe precepts, listen to Dhamma teachings, and participate in a candlelit procession (Vien Tien) around the ordination hall as an act of devotion to the Buddha.
